I found one at Whole Foods that is their brand, that does not taste funny and has no funky ingredient's. I chose the chocolate flavor. They also have vanilla.
My favorite smoothie at Jamba Juice is the Peanut Butter Mood, the highest calorie drink on their menu (ahem...480 to 770 calories), but it is so good. However, I have put together a recipe that taste exactly the same as the original and it is only 378 calories.
Here is what you will need:
1 scoop of 365 Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
8oz. Almond Breeze Chocolate Milk
1Tbl. All Natural Jiffy Creamy Peanut Butter
1 of a frozen banana
(I always freeze my over ripe banana's. Frozen fruit is a good substitute for ice, because it does not water down your smoothies)
Direction's
Blend all the ingredient's above up. Pour in a glass and drink with a straw. Enjoy.
I didn't know you blogged! This looks yummy! Have you tried PB2? It's basically dehydrated peanut butter, WAY less calories:-) I use it in baking, oatmeal and smoothies. It's not the same on it's own, because you just mix with water. Just a thought...I drink green smoothies but will definitely give this a try.
